1. How exactly does MyWebStartPage work? Can you show me an example "in action"?

2. What is a Web Start Page?
Think of a Web Start Page as the FIRST PAGE that appears when you access the internet (usually through Internet Explorer, or FireFox). With MyWebStartPage, you can have "1-click" access to YOUR favorite places in an attractive, custom-looking webpage. You can even access YOUR WebStartPage from any computer (a friend's computer, hotel computer, public access computer) that has internet access!
3. How much does MyWebStartPage.com cost? What's the catch?
MyWebStartPage is only $20.00 (or less) per year. There are multi-year discounts offered. This is less than $1.70 per month... There are NO catches - no sneaky upcharges, gimmicks, or "Oh by the ways".... MyWebStartPage was created by a family that wishes to offer this service to others -- without breaking the bank.
4. Are StartPages easy enough for a child to use???
YES - Absolutely. In fact, that was the idea behind the design of MyWebStartPage.com. The developer has 3 young children who all have their own startpages that require NO adult assistance! Each child has their own page that branches from the Main Family Page. 5. I'm not very good at using computers - Is this hard to set up?
No, this isn't difficult at all. You are simply creating an account with MyWebStartPage.com, and setting it as your homepage. Think of it as a 3 step process...
1. Create an account. At this time, you will select type of account (family or individual) and answer a few initial setup questions.
2. Log into your account with your User Name and Password.
3. Once you see the Startpage, then set that page as your homepage*.

*Setting the page as your homepage is similar whether you use Internet Explorer, or Firefox. At the top of the browser page select "Tools", and then "Internet Options"... Select "Use Current", and then OK. This should do the trick. And of course - drop us an email if you have any questions. Each page on MyWebStartPage.com has a Feedback button. You can use this to be in direct contact with us!
6. There is more than one computer in our house - May we use MyWebStartPage on more than one computer?
Yes, Your membership entitles you to use MyWebStartPage as your homepage on all computers owned within that household. You do not need to buy additional memberships to cover the other computers. All we ask is that you protect your user name and password so that others aren't using your membership.
7. Is MyWebStartPage a Web Blocker?
No -- In fact, MyWebStartPage is a Web Enabler! It makes it easy for you to Guide your children to websites you WANT them to visit. This is MUCH better than having them Surf (or click) around randomly - or using unrestricted Search Engines. 8. I work with an organization that is considering Fundraising Options - Can you help us?

You can even upload a picture to represent unique & new topics. Each category then will then represent a separate Startpage when "clicked". Here's an example Main Page and Category Sub-Page.
10. Is my satisfaction guaranteed? What if I don't like MyWebStartPage?
If you are not completely satisfied with MyWebStartPage, you are entitled to a full refund within the first 15 days. Customer satisfaction is VERY important to us, and we will work with you to get your homepage created and set. We're confident that MyWebStartPage will be well worth the purchase price and we proudly offer this guarantee.
11. Is there a way to get new tabs to open up my StartPage instead of a blank page? I use Internet Explorer....
Yes - This is controlled within Internet Explorer - and not by MyWebStartPage. Just open up the "Tools" Menu and select "Internet Options". Click on "Settings" in the Tabs section. Look for where the box states: "When a new tab is opened, open:" and select "Your first home page". Then click "OK" and "OK" to exit. The new settings will take effect the next time you use Internet Explorer.
